A brief history…
Faeriefoots’ Gifts was established by Laura Webb in 2005; from custom gifts for loved ones to handmade faerie creations that were sold through consignment at local gift shops.
2007 began her professional debut into commercial photography. However, a faerie’s perspective became apparent as personal photos became more focused on nature and it’s inhabitants as well as the desire to infuse magical elements when digital manipulation programs became readily available. Thus creating Faeriefoots’ Fauxtoes (TM) which original photography prints were created to join Faeriefoots’ Gifts at art vending events.
Since relocating to Johnson City, TN in 2008; Faeriefoots’ has expanded its naturalistic faerie/ cottage core aesthetic of Art, Apparel and Accessories (A3) to include (mostly) post-consumer and natural elements. This concept is reflected in the A3 Underground Studio where Gifts are expressed and merchandise is created. While maintaining stock for consignment, event booths and hosting eco-conscience art classes and specialized faerie events, Laura also travels as a seasonal portrait photographer. Amongst the routines of life as well as its twists and turns; plans and effort are in the works to establish a local public art studio that follows the A3 post-consumer ideals with goals to expand.
That should catch you up. Thanks for hanging in there!
